Practice Area

Mr. Terry’s practice involves complex civil litigation cases defending against claims of negligent supervision, retention, and hiring.  He handles several aspects of pre-trial civil discovery, from arguing and drafting dispositive motions and other pleadings to conducting depositions and investigations.  Additionally, Mr. Terry has assisted on various matters related to trial, including drafting of trial pleadings, preparation of expert witnesses, and production of demonstrative exhibits used at trial.

After completing law school, Mr. Terry worked as a judicial clerk for Hon. Elaine Houghton of the Washington Court of Appeals.  As a clerk, Mr. Terry assisted Judge Houghton in reviewing superior court decisions and drafting appellate opinions and court orders interpreting many different areas of criminal and civil law.
