Practice Area
Mr. Crowner practices general liability defense, with an emphasis on municipality law, employment law, and appellate law. He has litigated in state courts and has appeared before appellate courts, including the Washington State Court of Appeals.
Mr. Crowner joined Patterson Buchanan in 2008 after working as a law clerk for the Honorable C.C. Bridgewater, Washington Court of Appeals, Division Two. During his two-year clerkship, Mr. Crowner assisted the Court of Appeals judges in evaluating the merits of the cases before them and in writing their legal opinions.
Before law school, Mr. Crowner worked as a research technician at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, conducting research on Drosophila melanogaster. Mr. Crowner’s research focused on the basic sciences, trying to understand nervous system development.
