Michael A. Patterson co-presented with Deborah Callahan, Assistant Executive Director of the Washington Schools Risk Management Pool (WSRMP), at the 2010 Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA) Annual Conference on June 6, 2010 in Orlando, Florida. Speaking to more than 2,000 risk management professionals, Mr. Patterson and Ms. Callahan focused on how to be proactive at the prelitigation stage of a catastrophic injury claim.
WSRMP is a self-funded group of over 75 school districts, educational service districts, and school district interlocals in Washington State that have joined together to prevent, control, and pay for liability and property risks. The Alexandria, Virginia-based PRIMA is the largest risk management association dedicated solely to the practice of risk management in the public sector. The organization's membership is made up of more than 2,000 governmental entities in over 1,800 jurisdictions.
