Practice Area

Mr. Blair's practice involves all aspects of civil litigation, with an emphasis on advising and defending public entities.  He also advises and represents insurers in matters involving coverage-related issues.

Prior to joining Patterson Buchanan, Mr. Blair assisted clients with navigating the complexities of remediating contaminated properties.  In that role, Mr. Blair worked with individual property owners, government entities, and local, national and multinational businesses to develop and implement successful strategies aimed toward limiting the potential risks associated with owning or operating contaminated properties.  He also assisted those clients with pursuing relief through taking formal legal action when issues could not be resolved without the need for litigation.

Mr. Blair also previously worked as a civil litigator for another Seattle firm, and he has extensive experience preparing motions and has obtained successful results for his clients.  In addition to working with civil litigation and environmental issues, Mr. Blair has experience evaluating risks and providing client-focused solutions for real estate transactions.

Mr. Blair graduated with honors from Seattle University School of Law in 2016.  While in law school, Mr. Blair gained a wealth of practical experience, completing internships with the U.S. EPA and DocuSign, Inc.  In those roles, Mr. Blair advised government and commercial entities on a broad range of legal issues.
