Mr. Talbot’s practice focuses upon complex litigation and general liability defense.
Before joining Patterson Buchanan in 2007, Mr. Talbot worked as a staff attorney in the Office of the Family and Children Ombudsman, a state agency within the Governor’s office charged with monitoring the Washington State Children’s Administration and generating legislative proposals to improve the child welfare system. Mr. Talbot also served for two years as bailiff/clerk to the Honorable Charles W. Mertel at King County Superior Court supporting the judge in officiating dozens of trials. As a law clerk for the Honorable William W. Baker at Division I of the Washington State Court of Appeals, Mr. Talbot provided legal analysis, recommendations for decisions, and drafted opinions.
