Practice Area

Focus on Complex Litigation in Government Defense, including personal injury matters involving sexual abuse claims, police liability, facility abuse and/or discrimination allegations, and employment litigation involving racial and sexual discrimination and harassment allegations under the Washington Law against Discrimination.

Prior to joining Patterson Buchanan Fobes & Leitch Ms. Jorgensen was a Tort Litigator at the Attorney General’s Office for the State of Washington and handled many jury trials, her practice areas included representing DSHS, DCYF, DOC, WSP, and various other entities in high profile litigation.  She specialized in defending law enforcement, sexual abuse allegations involving DSHS and DCYF, and various other claims under the Washington Law against Discrimination.  She also was a Tort Litigator for the Pierce County Prosecutor’s office similarly handling high profile litigation involving wrongful death, law enforcement liability, institutional sexual abuse claims, employment discrimination, and various federal claims.   Kerri began her career working as a prosecuting attorney in Whatcom County, the City of Seattle, and the City of Bellevue where she specialized in Domestic Violence, Child abuse, and other high-risk offenders and high-profile litigation handling hundreds of jury trials.
